Audio Production and Broadcasting

Writing for radio is my favorite way to write. When every word counts and no sentence should run long, I believe I do create the most succinct journalism I can. While most of the time I voice pieces that run one minute or less on the air, making them much more difficult to track and record, below are pieces I either voiced or helped produce. Finally, I provide some of the scripts I create for daily news hits.

Radio is dead, Long live radio!

Production: Juvenile (In)justice, Reveal

I produced Juvenile (In)justice from May of 2020 through March of 2021 alongside reporter Tennessee Watson. The story concerns youth experience in the juvenile justice system in Wyoming which locks up kids at one of the highest rates in the nation.

Production and Reporting: Student Podcast Challenge, NPR

The 2,400 podcast submissions for NPR's contest offer a rare glimpse into the minds of young people. I compiled clips from each submitted podcast and stitched acts with my own tracks to create this piece.
